Khmer Unity Games
The Khmer Unity Games was founded in 1999 by Sarin Ong (CSU Fullerton Alumnus). This event was hosted every summer by the Cambodian Student Council which consists of : UC Irvine, UC Los Angeles, UC San Diego, San Diego State University, CSU Fullerton, UC Santa Barbara, and a non-profit organization C-HOPE (Cambodian Humanitarian Organization for Peace On Earth). The first Khmer Unity Games 1999 was in Irvine, California.
The Cambodian Student Council ended in 2005. But Khmer Unity Games still lived on and now it is an annual event of Khmer Student Coalition (KSC), a Cambodian Student Network system amongst Universities & Colleges in California and throughout out the U.S.
