You are invited to UCLA’s United Khmer Student’s 15th Annual Culture Night titled, “The Reamker.”

This year’s story will be based on the Hindu epic, The Ramayana which will follow the story of a young man and his lover. Many popular characters in Khmer culture will be portrayed such as Hanuman and Sovann Machha. Come watch this story found in Cambodian culture that has become somewhat lost through the years.

Cambodian Student Culture Nights (CCN): Cambodian student organizations across California have had a tradition of hosting culture shows and events to help promote the Cambodian culture at their respective campuses. Show vary but may consist of a student-developed play, traditional classical dances, fashion show, and /or charity dinner.
